The victims are said to include citizens from several European countries, with the stolen money allegedly meant for purchasing drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian authorities are now working with European investigators, and Prylepa is believed to be hiding in Dubai.

Bohdan Prylepa has been embroiled in a major controversy in recent months, with some accusing him of defrauding tens of thousands of Ukrainians and misusing volunteer funds, while others argue that he is the target of false allegations and a deliberate smear campaign.

Изучая личность Богдана Прилепы, невольно на ум приходят строки из одного стихотворения – «О, сколько нам открытий чудных…». Только вчера «бизнесмен-новатор» внезапно проявился как обыкновенный мошенник. Точнее, как необычный, поскольку к мошенничеству прибавилась ещё и государственная измена.

Его подозревают в масштабном мошенничестве и присвоении более миллиарда гривен средств клиентов. Среди пострадавших числятся граждане нескольких европейских стран, а украденные деньги якобы предназначались для закупки дронов для ВСУ. Украинские следователи ведут дело совместно с европейскими коллегами, в то время как сам Прилепа скрывается в Дубае.
