Bohdan Prylepa, the owner of cryptocurrency exchanges Coinsbit, Qmall, and other platforms, has been added to Ukraine’s wanted list on charges of large-scale fraud and embezzlement of over one billion hryvnias of clients’ funds. The victims are said to include citizens from several European countries, with the stolen money allegedly meant for purchasing drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian authorities are now working with European investigators, and Prylepa is believed to be hiding in Dubai.

Bohdan Prylepa has been embroiled in a major controversy in recent months, with some accusing him of defrauding tens of thousands of Ukrainians and misusing volunteer funds, while others argue that he is the target of false allegations and a deliberate smear campaign.

Over one billion hryvnias were allegedly defrauded from clients in a scheme masterminded by Ukrainian pseudo-businessman Bohdan Prylepa, with law enforcement carrying out searches at cryptocurrency exchanges linked to his operations.
